Amazing Homework Projects

Last week we shared our fantastic homework projects comparing other countries to NZ.  They are all currently on display in the hall if you want to see them.  Below is a few of the best of them.

Iris meets Royalty!

Yesterday Iris and her friends Hannah and Lucie from R1 travelled to Blenheim to catch a glimpse of Royalty!  They got more than they bargained for being interviewed for Channel 7 news in Australia.  See if you can spot them around 48secs into the news clip below.

Counting the Beat!

On Wednesday we were beating up the music with Mr Music! We played on the ukulele.  Mr Music taught us to play it in less than five minutes!!

Mrs Wills used a cool app on her iPad called 'Autorap' to make a class rap. 

Shared Kai and Cultural Games

Today we had our multicultural day which featured a shared kai for the whole school down the bottom field followed by an afternoon of games from around the world in our houses.

ROAming Nelson looking for ART

Yesterday we went down town to check out the ROA street art that was done early this year.  ROA is a Belgium artist who travels around the world doing amazing artworks of animals in unusual poses.
