Team 18 Super Runners

A massive congratulations to the cross country runners from Rm18 who lead home both the boy and girl fields.  Here is our top 3 place getters in both the Yr3 and Yr4 races being presented with their certificates and ribbons at last Fridays singing assembly.  Love the hair too!

Big ups to Jessica from R14 for her courageous sacrifice in support of child cancer!  We in R18 think you are a legend and are proud to be in the same syndicate as you!

 

Super senior space stuff!

Last week we went to check out the fantastic space homework projects that the senior school had been working on this term.  Check these out!

We love Books!

As part of our focus on reading and books this term, the Middle Syndicate visited the legendary Founders Park Book Fair.  The children all brought along a few dollars and found bargains aplenty amongst the massive collection of books and magazines.  A great afternoon was had by all and a big thank you to all those parents who came along for the ride.

 

Team 18 Super runners!

A big ups to all those amazing R18 students who gave up time on their weekends to represent HSS at the Cross Country league over the last month.  Well done to Alex, Amy, Lili, Meg, Nina, Darsha, Luke, Samuel, Sophia, Nick (and anyone else I've missed...sorry).  In the end the HSS boys team ended up in a close 2nd, but it was the girls who got revenge for missing out last year, by winning the girls trophy for 2013.  This was in no small way due to our very own Rebecca Hufflett who ended up in 4th by the end of the series.  This is an amazing effort for a Year 4 student - WELL DONE REBECCA!  Bring on the Middle Syndicate cross country and the King & Queen of the Hill I say!!.
