Last week the crew of Room 18 made some amazing boats, rafts, yachts and...submarines as part of our 'RISE ABOVE' topic.  Check out the awesome creations made at home and at school.

We then tested their speed and buoyancy in the small pool!  Results were varied to say the least..but a lot of fun was had by all!!

Last week we headed over to Nelson College to view the ICC World Cup trophy.  He got our photos with the trophy as well as being signed by Sir Richard Hadlee (one for the mums and dads).

Last Friday we had our first ever House Tug-of-war competition!  All houses had some level of success but it was Van Diemen who proved to be the strongest house overall, coming away with some much needed points and closing the gap in the overall house points behind Hampden and Waimea.
