Last week we headed over to Nelson College to view the ICC World Cup trophy.  He got our photos with the trophy as well as being signed by Sir Richard Hadlee (one for the mums and dads).

HSS celebrates 111 days until the ICC World Cup

Last Friday we had our first ever House Tug-of-war competition!  All houses had some level of success but it was Van Diemen who proved to be the strongest house overall, coming away with some much needed points and closing the gap in the overall house points behind Hampden and Waimea.

Will it Sink...or swim!?

This term we are looking at principles or sinking and floating, alongside boat design and evolution.  

Will it float??

Yes!! It does (i knew that!)
