SLOW DOWN!! Keep to the Speed Limit!

To finish the week the children from the Middle and Senior school walked down to Nelson Intermediate to waltch a road safety demonstration. Children were able to observe first hand what driving just 10km over the speed limit has on the ability to stop quickly. A sombre reminder about being safe on our busy roads.

Principal for the Day

If I was Principal for the day i would make a huge rugby stadium called Hampden Park and there would be a super 15 competition and a Tri-Nations competition for year 4, 5 and 6. Mr Mc Lean would choose the teams.
Secondly I would make it in the mornings for maths you stayed in your own class.
Thirdly i would have more visitors come in like Hosea Gear, Dan Carter, Richie McCaw, Cory Jane, Sam Whitelock, Brad Thorn, Sonny Bill Williams, Sean Maitland, Zach Guildford, Adam Thomson and Mils Muliaina.
Fourthly I would make the school bigger. Next for homework we would only do it three times a month.
Then every Friday i would get Zach Guildford to train with every class for half an hour. Finally i would make a huge pool down the bottom field.

How to Annoy my Teacher!!

We were doing handwriting, I put up my hand. "I can't find my book!" I said, (I hid it before school you see), "really I can't!" I shouted!
After that was morning tea, next was buddy reading. I just sat there. "Do I have to go?" I said.
"OF COURSE!" he shouted.
At reading i was reading a new book for the school and I ripped out all the pages!
At cross country training I only did half each lap!
At writing I just sat there.
At the library I screamed!!
Finally, at sport I cheated!!!

My Most Prized Posessions

If I had to select my 4 most prized possessions this is what I would select. Firstly I would choose my teddy bear Matahiwi because it is named after my Marae and my aunty knitted it. Secondly I would take my humungus cuddly because I got it from my nanny, and she died so it reminds me of her. Thirdly I would get my pet dog Ginger because she is the cutest dog I know. Finally I would choose all of my photos because they bring back memories.

My EGGcelent Easter Egg!

My perfect, delicious, excellent, easteriffic egg would be the shape of a bunny rabbit. Not just a normal plain one, a powerful, humungus, terrific rainbow one (and thats just the cover wrapping!) It's much better. Probably as huge as 20cm. It is pitch black dark chocolate, but tastes like normal milk chocolate. It is filled with mouthwatering, irresistable caramel sauce. Once you suck out the caramel with your straw there will be a tiny plastic bag with a mini Easter bunny or Gilly the dinosaur toy. And you'll also find a secret code, say the code to someone that runs a dairy and you'll get a crispy $1,000,000 note!!! By the way, the mouthwatering Easter egg is called 'Caramel Delight.'
