Too Cute!

Last Friday Taemen and Amen brought in their 3 cute little turtles (Sunny, Ocean and Sky) to share.  We learnt that they can live for up to 70 years and that they love eating dried fish. 

House Meetings

On Friday the houses got together to listen to senior children tell them why they would make a great house leader. It was fantastic to see up to 15 children from each house with the confidence to get up and speak in front of such a large audience.

3...2...1...GO!! I started racing down the huge hill. I can see the rough, bumpy path ahead of me. I can also hear the huge crowd around me. The taste in my mouth was very dry, my heart was racing like a puma pouncing - it was amazing! I could see the blue sky and there was a helicopter up above me. I just hit the finish line in a flash. This year we will be doing H E A P S of things together as a syndicate. Our cool new space means it is easy to move from room to room, collaborating with a range of children and learning from teachers with different expertise.
